Bonny Cassidy

Bonny Cassidy is a Sydney poet, currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney where she is working on a thesis concerned with the 1970s poetry of Jennifer Rankin and Jennifer Maiden. In 2005, she delivered papers in the US and Turkey. Bonny is a freelance editor and tutor as well as creative submissions editor for USYD's postgraduate arts journal, Philament. Throughout 2005, she was Literary Coordinator for 'The Salon' monthly art and debate night at Knot Gallery. She was included in The Red Room Company’s “Pegged Poets” event in 2003 and commissioned for the 2004 "Toilet Doors" project. Her poetry has most recently appeared in Southerly.
