Gareth Sion Jenkins [BA, MSc (Psych), BCA (Hon1)]: writer, performer and digital media artist. Gareth currently teaches creative writing at the University of Technology Sydney, the University of Newcastle and the University of Wollongong where he is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Creative Arts. Gareth’s creative work explores poetry, prose, digital media and performance. He has performed and been published in Australia and internationally. Gareth has worked for many years in the Youth Services industry running creative programs for young people. Gareth featured in The Red Room Company’s ‘Pegged Poetry’ project in 2004 Listen to an interview with Gareth and hear him read the poem created for the Red Room Remains -Sustainable Sydney project. |
