SalMaz (a.k.a. Sally Mazak)

SalMaz studied Illustration/Graphic Design at University and then took on private commissions, illustrating her interpretation of individuals as unique gifts from family and friends. She has also illustrated and written greeting cards for The Ink Group (now with John Sands) for nearly 6 years. In 2005 she wrote, illustrated and self-published her first children's picture book called ‘What colours am I?’ about a chicken called Betty who changes colour every day (see ‘book’ page on website). Sal’s current project is a new rhyming kid’s book about a fairy called Mary who becomes hairy. All SalMaz illustration is quirky, colourful and character driven, with a graphic designer’s commercial sensibility. Have a peek at www.salmaz.com or email Sally.
