From mid-2008, The Red Room Company will no longer be making project-specific, public call-outs for work. We have not, however, changed our ethos of commissioning new work by poets who are new to the Company and to Australian readers: we want your quality poems!

We accept submissions of work all year round, for consideration by our advisory panel and Company team as projects are developed.

The Red Room Company does not run competitions: we commission new work based around concepts for live and public dissemination of Australian poetry.

We only use work that has not been published; for this reason, we ask that you indicate whether or not the poems you are sending are an introduction to your published work (in which case we will, if your poetry appeals, ask you to send new work), or if they are unpublished and are not being offered for consideration elsewhere

Send up to three poems, a brief bio, your name and contact details, and whether or not your work is targeted at a particular Red Room project.
